Aviv Karasov-Olson joined the California Climate Hub as a Fellow in November 2023.

Aviv recently earned her doctorate in ecology from the University of California, Davis. Her experience lies at the intersection of social-ecological systems, climate change adaptation, and conservation planning. Within the realm of conservation social science, her research focused on the role of collaboration in the management of migratory waterfowl, identifying pathways where collaboration can lead to successful management, and evaluating the connection between management networks and ecological systems.
