Alan Franzluebbers

Alan Franzluebbers is the ARS co-director of the Southeast Regional Climate Hub and a research ecologist with the USDA Agricultural Research Service in Raleigh, NC. His research focuses on soil ecology and management for development of more sustainable agricultural systems, along with multi-species cover cropping, agroforestry, integrated crop-livestock systems, nitrogen management, and conservation-tillage cropping. Alan received B.S. in horticulture and M.S. in agronomy degrees from the University of Nebraska and a Ph.D. in soil science from Texas A&M University.
